Colour guidelines

Colour, positive application

This panel displays the only 3 instances where a full colour NCR may be used in a printed application, namely on white, black or 20% black background.

When the use of the preferred two-colour version is not possible or practical, use a white or black logo or a 1-process-colour version

Colour, reversed application

This page displays examples of the reversed out white logotype which can be used in applications where the final output is printed material.

The colour choices are based on the NCR colour palette and should be used where possible.

Do not use the Logo type on any colour background that does not provide sufficient contrast. When the darkness of the background colour renders the white logo illegible, use the one-colour black logo.

Black and White Applications

This panel displays the black and white, positive Logo type for use in applications where the final output is materials printed in black and white. Whenever possible, use the preferred black & gray version.

Note:
When it is not feasible to print the full-color or one-color version of the Logo type, use one of the versions shown in this section. If printing in a single colour, please use black or select a colour appropriate for legibility from the NCR palettes.

Where background colour lightness renders the reversed out logo illegible, use the one-colour black logo.

Black and White Reversed Applications

This panel displays the black and white, reversed Logo types for use in applications where the final output is printed materials.

Whenever possible, use the preferred Grey & White version.
